Spotted Gum

Solid timber

Spotted Gum is a plantation hardwood, typically grown in coastal areas from Victoria’s northern border through to southern Queensland. This timber ranges from pale to dark brown in colour, often with a distinctive wavy grain.

Please be advised that timber is a natural material with grain detail, colour and finishes subject to variation. Additionally solid timber will be more susceptible to movement in warmer climates. All of our timber is available with either AFS/PEFC or FSC Chain of Custody certification.

Recommended Usage Best suited to outdoor applications Care For longevity please keep furniture in covered outdoor areas away from direct sunlight or harsh weather conditions for extended periods. Timber finishes will naturally discolour with age in an outdoor setting. For timber products re-apply a UV-stable exterior grade oil (eg decking oil) every 6 months.
