Graphic Designer | Melbourne


We are seeking a Mid-weight Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team in Melbourne. Based at our Head Office and reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be passionate about design, sustainability, innovation and thrive in a fast-paced and environment.

This is a full-time role working 38 hours per week.  

The scope of this role is constantly evolving so you will need to be someone comfortable with change, but some main responsibilities are to: 

- Execute all internal graphic design work

- Work with Marketing and the Creative Director to execute for small to large scale campaigns

- Liaise with the Marketing and Homewares teams to ensure creative concepts are delivered to an exceptional standard 

- Implement Jardan branding on all current and new products

- Implement graphic material related to a product releases

- Liaise with external printers to produce any printed material along with press checks when required 

- Work with the Marketing and Homewares team on new branding aspects of packaging design 

- Create branding for new Homewares collections 

- Work with Visual Merchandising team to create all artwork for in store communication window vinyls/decals, swing tags and all instore POS items

- Maintain all internal printed and digital material for Sales and Production teams

- Liaise with the sales team to produce external literature for print and digital releases 

- To execute ad hoc briefs as required from Senior Team and Design team

What you will bring:

- 3 + years of design experience with management skills or a strong ability to time manage

- Formal qualifications in either Graphic Design or Visual Communication, or strong industry experience

- A strong passion for innovation and creativity 

- A can do and positive attitude

- Experience with a work management platform (Asana, Trello or Click up etc)

- Experience with EDM platform (Klaviyo preferred) 

- Ability to understand our aesthetic and execute creative that is on brand 

- Ability to deliver under pressure and work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment

- Experience preparing for final artwork for print and installation 

- Strong time management and organisational skills  

- Excellent communication skills 

- Demonstrated experience in retail POP execution

- Strong technical ability and experience in Adobe Creative Suite

- An interest in the brand and the design community

- Experience in packaging design is considered favourable

- Web design experience considered favourable

- Motion graphics or animation skills considered favourable
