What we are looking for :
We are seeking full time Logistics Manager to join our team in Scoresby. This role Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations across our Logistics, Warehouse, Furniture and Homewares Despatch and Receiving departments ensuring optimal productivity, safety and service outcomes.
Reporting to the Operations Manager the key responsibilities include:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Logistics, Warehouse, Furniture and Homewares Despatch and Receivables teams whilst providing strategic leadership advice and strategies
- Conduct regular reviews of your direct reports offering guidance and feedback on their performance and identifying any areas for improvement
- Provide support for the introduction of Epicor (ERP) for the Logistics department
- Responsible for Warehouse productivity, targets and improvement activities
- Ensure all work areas are adhering to strict 5S requirements
- Collaborate with Purchasing to arrange pick up of raw materials
- Oversee all third-party pickups in consultation with the Logistics department
- Ensure all outgoing goods are checked and matched against paperwork, receipted in ERP system and are logically located in the Warehouse
- Raise ‘return’ documents for goods received that are non-conforming
- Maintain Warehouse stock on hand and manage inventory levels and stock locations to ensure stock accuracy
- Perform cycle counting activities in order to maintain stock accuracy
- Supervise and participate in company stocktake activities
- Update and maintain daily production boards and attend toolbox meetings
- Oversee yard activities and delivery/waste removal
- Ensure Warehouse and Despatch areas are clean and kept free from hazards
- Build and foster strong logistic and supplier relationships, striving with best pricing and accurate documentation
- Any other administration duties as required
What we are looking for :
- At least 2 years experience in a Logistics / Warehouse Manager role
- Basic Microsoft Office experience
- Experience leading and managing a team
- A valid forklift license
- Capable of multitasking and adept at problem-solving
