Finn Leather

Hazelnut

Finn Leather is produced in Italy by a silver-certified Leather Working Group Tannery which guarantees a commitment to safeguarding the environment. Featuring a waxy finish and smooth corrected grain the hand feel is a dream, combined with consistent colour and tone, this leather is both stylish and low maintenance. The skins are vacuum dried in order to give fullness and uniformity to the surface, once dried special processing measures are adopted to reduce the natural defects however, slight imperfections and variations in finish and colour are intrinsic features of leather, which forms part of its unique and natural beauty.

Care

Leather is a natural product characterised by the unique tone and individual markings that the animal has acquired during its life which may include creases and stretchmarks, scars, and insect bites. Some softening and stretching of the leather is to be expected with use. To clean marks and spills a damp cloth should be used adding, only when necessary, a solution made with particularly delicate products such as mild pure soap. Avoid rubbing the leather surface, spills should be dabbed off proceeding from the edge to the center. Do not use harsh or abrasive products, steam, or products for leather shoes. Once cleaning is completed the surface needs to be dried using a soft dry clean cloth. We recommend Professional cleaning and it is advisable to test products on a hidden part of the furniture before using them on exposed zones, to ensure they will not damage the leather.
