Interpreting this mysterious group of islands, Kate Ballis’ series “Spectrums of the Galapagos” takes viewers on a journey to explore the abstraction, emotion and energy of pure colour.
- Product Details
Kates’ images do away with line and physical form and allow the colours themselves to become the composition, the basis for interpretation and connection. Captured using a digital SLR, Ballis worked with a mysterious acetate procured from a fashion Atelier in New York which dances with prismatic rainbows when moved against the light.
