Inside the Cartier High Jewellery Event
03.07.26
Earlier this month, we were proud to partner with Cartier for an exclusive High Jewellery event, transforming a private residence overlooking the Yarra in Toorak into an intimate setting for the Maison's VIP clients and invited guests.
For this occasion, we collaborated closely with Cartier to design and craft bespoke furniture pieces developed specifically for the event, shaped through considered materiality, colour palette and form to support the presentation of the collection and the atmosphere of each space.
Our partnership was grounded in a shared appreciation for craftsmanship, thoughtful design and creating pieces that stand the test of time. While our disciplines differ, both Jardan and Cartier are driven by an unwavering commitment to quality, attention to detail and enduring design.
We furnished the lobby and key spaces throughout the home, creating a calm and considered backdrop that allowed the jewellery to remain the focus of the experience. Many of the pieces were created to celebrate Australian identity, taking inspiration from Victoria's distinctive landscapes and cultural landmarks, from Federation Square and the Great Ocean Road to Brighton Beach and beyond.
Complementing the interiors, a curated collection of contemporary artworks were sourced from China Heights Gallery, creating an immersive environment where furniture, art and jewellery came together seamlessly.
The collaboration also coincided with 2026 Melbourne Winter Masterpieces® CARTIER exhibition at the NGV, further celebrating the Maison's legacy in craftsmanship and design. The exhibition brings together almost 400 exceptional jewels, watches and precious objects, spanning more than a century of Cartier's creative history.
Together, the event reflected the intersection of exceptional craftsmanship, Australian design and one of the world's most iconic jewellery maisons, shaping an experience defined by considered detail and artistry.
