Intended to blur the lines between home and office, the Expedia group workplace creates a comforting and tranquil atmosphere. Influenced by its coastal surrounds, the Sydney based office, designed by Templewell design studio took cues from eucalyptus trees, sand dunes and the morning and evening soft light at the beach to evoke an indoor/outdoor aesthetic that creates a peaceful and inviting space. Utilising local suppliers and manufacturers was key to the design, as well as ensuring the palette and materials reflected the Australian landscape.
