Located on Russell Street, this 14-storey, 191- room boutique hotel reflects Melbourne’s rich design heritage, thoughtfully realised by architecture firm Kennedy Nolan. The vision was to create a hotel that feels deeply connected to its surroundings—one that embodies the creative energy of the city while offering a refined yet welcoming retreat.

Every detail of Melbourne Place has been designed with purpose. Kennedy Nolan’s approach embraces materiality, texture, and tone, creating interiors that feel both bold and understated. A soft, tonal palette enhances the shifting Melbourne light, while the use of natural materials and sculptural forms brings a sense of warmth and longevity.

Jardan’s furniture is woven throughout the space, complementing the hotel’s carefully layered interiors. Pieces like the Bon sofa, Gus dining chairs, and the custom-designed Joy chair—created exclusively for Melbourne Place—reflect a shared commitment to local design and craftsmanship.
