The Penny rug is luxurious and think, with a beautiful soft feeling underfoot. Hand knotted from 100% New Zealand wool with 100% Cotton backing, Penny is constructed with a thick even, cut pile, made by hand knotting and ensuring a luxurious, dense, hard wearing yet soft rug. Featuring a bold geometric art deco pattern in a contemporary warm tone.

Please Note: As each rug is unique and made up of different yarns and fabrications, we recommend contacting a professional handmade rug washer before cleaning for advice specific to your rug.

General Care Notes: To keep your rug looking its best vacuum regularly to remove any dust or dirt. Avoid placing in direct sunlight and rotate regularly to equalise wear. Clip loose ends with scissors to remove and prevent pulling. Spot clean with cold water and a clean cloth – for stubborn stains use shampoo or wool mix, being careful to absorb any extra moisture after cleaning to prevent watermarking. To maintain your rugs condition, we recommend getting it professionally cleaned at least once a year — do not steam or dry clean.
