Louise Olsen and Stephen Ormandy are artists, designers, creative directors, and co-founders of Dinosaur Designs, established in 1985 out of a shared love of art, design and friendship. Curiosity and imagination are central to their work and fuel a sense of play that blurs boundaries to create a philosophy of colour, form and texture.
All items are handmade, variation in colour and resin swirls will feature & reflect the handmade nature of the making process. The variation in detail is to be celebrated and embraced. Care & Maintenance
Resin is strong and durable, yet should be treated like a ceramic as it can break when dropped on knocked against a hard surface. Resin homewares are suitable for cold food service only. Hand wash only in warm water. Resin may appear “frosted” after washing and can be rubbed with a drop of cooking oil to restore sheen. Resin is not fire resistant and so should not be used in an oven, a microwave, dishwasher or as an ashtray.
