Greyson Leather

Bone

Our Greyson leather has a silky handle that will add an element of grandeur to your piece.  Jardan Greyson is produced in Italy using the best young bull hides from Western Europe by a silver certified Leather Working Group Tannery.  We are sourcing from a AUA accredited tannery which guarantees a commitment to safeguarding the environment.  This aniline leather is vacuum dried and finished using only aniline and natural waxes.  The wax application highlights the nuances coming from the different organic compositions that are intrinsic features of the naturalness of the hide.  Greyson offers benefits such as high breathability, paired with soft touch and sensation that truly makes any piece a statement.  Offered in a versatile and sophisticated colour palette covering earthy neutrals, the classics and contemporary options there is something to suit all interior settings.

Aniline leather does develop character with age/use, it is more susceptible to mark, stain and scratch and fade in direct light so take care when selecting to make sure it suits end use and placement within the home.

Composition: Aniline Leather

Light Fastness: 3

Care

Leather is a natural product characterised by the unique tone and individual markings that the animal has acquired during its life which may include creases and stretchmarks, scars, and insect bites. Some softening and stretching of the leather is to be expected with use. Wipe leather with a clean, damp cloth on a weekly basis to remove dust and dirt particles that can work their way into the hide and abrade the surface. To refresh your leather, care packages specifically designed for aniline and finished leathers are available at your nearest Jardan store. To treat difficult stains, we recommend contacting a specialist leather cleaner who can also assist with regular treatment of the leather to nourish and prolong the life of leather upholstery. Keep your leather furniture at least 30cm away from any sources of heat. Prolonged exposure to heating vents or radiators will cause your leather to dry out, crack, or harden.

Please Note

Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the colours depicted on our website of materials and products accurately reflect the way they appear in person, Jardan advises that there may be variation between these due to a combination of factors including computer monitor, screen settings and lighting as well as a level of true variation in the products themselves. We work with many natural materials as well as handmade artisan products where a level of variation is to be expected and celebrated. It is therefore recommended that you view products in person prior to ordering where possible, or request swatches and additional information from our sales teams.
