Marmelo and Mr Mills

Situated on Russell Street in Melbourne’s Hyde Melbourne Place precinct, Marmelo and Mr Mills bring a vibrant, neighbourhood feel to the city’s CBD. Marmelo offers an elegant, light-filled dining experience with rich textures, hand-painted tiles, and a central wine cellar, while Mr Mills provides an intimate cocktail lounge with low lighting, cosy booths, and a striking chartreuse staircase linking the two spaces.

Designed by Mitchell & Eades in collaboration with Ross and Sunny Lusted, the interiors draw inspiration from Lisbon’s laneways and grand architecture, balancing European influences with a distinctly Melburnian energy. Australian-made Jardan furniture features in both venues, contributing comfort, tactile appeal, and locally crafted detail throughout.

The result is a dynamic and layered environment that reflects Melbourne’s market-driven culture, celebrates local makers, and offers a range of experiences from lively bar moments to intimate dining.
